Season opened at Kartepe Ski Center

The ski season opened in Kartepe, one of Turkiye’s important winter tourism centers, with the snow reaching a sufficient level.

Snowfall continues to affect the ski resort in Kartepe, located at the top of the Samanli Mountains.

After the rain, the tracks were opened for use in the center, where the snow depth reached 105 centimeters.

Those who come to the ski resort have the opportunity to ski at the top of the Samanli Mountains with views of Sapanca Lake and Izmit Bay.

Erhan Dundar, general manager of the hotel in the center, said that the snow thickness has reached the desired level with the recent rainfall.

Emphasizing that 19 tracks have been opened for use, Dundar said, “We expect snowfall at the weekend. The weather is very nice for skiing. We are ready to host our guests. We are waiting for ski lovers to Kartepe.”

Dundar noted that those who want to come to Kartepe for a day can use both the tracks at the ski center and the sled tracks.
