Turk Eximbank Secures Significant Financing with Two Major Agreements

Turk Eximbank stated that it made two separate agreements, one with a 10-year maturity in the amount of $285.7 million and the other in the amount of €1 billion.

Turk Eximbank, which provides loans for the purpose of developing exports, informed KAP that it made two separate agreements with a consortium of banks under the guarantee of AIIB.

In the statement made by the bank to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), “Our bank signed a loan agreement to obtain a 10-year term fund in the amount of $285.7 million from a consortium of banks under the guarantee of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on May 7, 2024.”

According to the news in BloombergHT, the institution signed a 10-year loan agreement worth €1 billion with the consortium of banks in a separate PDP statement. The loan in question was provided under the guarantee of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the counter-guarantee of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
