Uludağ Exporters’ Unions (UEU) reported that exports amounted to $2.8 billion last month.
According to the statement from UEU, the unions exported $2,830,859,000 worth of products in April 2024. The January-April 2024 exports of the unions increased by 4.14% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching $12,322,760,000.
Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Union recorded external sales of $2,381,505,000 in April. The January-April export of the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Union reached $10,249,550,000, marking a 4.81% increase compared to the first four months of the previous year.
Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Union exported $97,014,000 in April and $432,942,000 in the January-April period.
The Uludağ Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters’ Union, which achieved exports worth $65,354,000 in April, realized external sales of $304,150,000 in the first four months of this year.
Uludağ Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters’ Union exported $28,737,000 worth of products in April. The union’s external sales in the January-April period increased by 39% compared to the same months of the previous year, reaching $97,020,000.
Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Union, which exported $6,380,000 last month, saw its four-month external sales increase by 11% compared to the same period last year, reaching $50,331,000.
UEU Coordinator President Baran Çelik stated in the statement, “With the necessary transformations and support in the global competition race, I sincerely believe that we will reach our export targets.”
