Ango.ai, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered data labeling platform based in Ankara, was acquired by the American company iMerit, an industry leader in artificial intelligence data solutions.
Ango.ai, founded in Ankara by Gokalp Urul and Gokhan Urul in 2020, was acquired by US-based iMerit.
Ango offered data labeling tools and solutions for artificial intelligence applications. With the Ango Hub data tagging platform, the company quickly and securely processed image, video, text and audio datasets, making them available for artificial intelligence algorithms.
iMerit is an industry leader in AI data solutions and is headquartered in California, USA. iMerit, which has more than 200 global customers including companies such as Microsoft, Linkedin, eBay, Johnson & Johnson, Autodesk, trains its customers’ artificial intelligence algorithms.
With this acquisition, Ango and iMerit bring together the expertise of both companies. iMerit’s deep expertise in artificial intelligence data solutions combined with Ango’s expertise in software and technology to create the best platform in artificial intelligence on a global scale.
