THY started passenger-cargo aircraft conversions with EFW

Turkish Airlines (THY) Technic Inc. started passenger-cargo aircraft conversions with Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW), one of the important companies in the sector, within the scope of passenger-cargo conversion operations (P2F) of Airbus A330 aircraft.

In the statement of THY Press Consultancy, it was reported that THY Technic Inc., the first MRO (maintenance, repair, modification) company in the world to cooperate directly with EFW within the scope of the A330 P2F Program, recently carried out the upper fuselage shell (UFS) cutting process of the first conversion aircraft and ensured the successful installation of the new UFS.

In the statement, it was emphasized that this process is an important milestone for the installation of the main deck cargo door, and it was noted that this cargo conversion, which is the first of a series of A330 P2F conversion projects, is planned to be completed in the middle of this year.

In the statement, it was stated that THY Technic Inc., one of the most important companies in its sector, continues to make a difference in its sector by making significant investments in its capabilities and capacity, expanding its service portfolio and meeting the needs of its customers.
