It hosted a total of 17 million passengers in the first 6 months of the year.

OHS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Berk Albayrak, whose views are included in the statement, stated that the intensity experienced at the airport indicates that the tourism sector has had a very productive season this year, and that they set a new record almost every week as Sabiha Gokcen Airport, and said:

According to the information given, Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, which serves 156 destinations and 52 countries in total, including 39 domestic and 117 international destinations, added Al Kasim (Saudi Arabia) and Kazan (Russia) airports to its destination map in June, and announced Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, as its new international destination on 19 July.
