Turkish Airlines and Hava-Is Union Reach Agreement on 28th Term Collective Labor Agreement

Turkish Airlines and the Air Labor Union reached an agreement for the 28th Term Collective Labor Agreement.

According to the information obtained by AirportHaber, the long-standing CBA negotiations resulted with the intervention of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after a tense wait. It was learned that the parties reached an agreement and signatures were made.

Ali Kemal Tatlibal’s statement:

“Our valued members, dear working brothers,

Our CBA process, which we struggled for three months, was held at the “Iftar of the Laborers of the Turkish Century”, under the auspices of our Honorable President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOGAN, accompanied by our Turk-Is Chairman, Mr. Ergun ATALAY, and our Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Vedat ISIKHAN, we met with Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ahmet BOLAT, and an agreement was reached on the basic issues.

At the meeting, with the approval and support of our President, it was decided to increase the BASE SALARY by 64% net, which we focused on with all our efforts.

In addition, the details of the agreement we have reached today on all our additional gains such as “Social Aids, Compensations and Holiday Bonuses”, the importance of which we constantly emphasize, will be shared with you tomorrow in a joint statement by our Union Hava-Is and THY.

We would like to thank our Chairman of Turk-Is, Mr. Ergun ATALAY, and our Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Vedat ISIKHAN, for their support.
