Turkish hazelnut exports achieved revenues exceeding one billion dollars within 5 months.
The Board of Directors of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Union said in a statement on Saturday that exports since the start of the 2023-2024 harvest season in September amounted to one billion 16 million and 920 thousand dollars.
He added that 142,173 tons of hazelnuts were exported during the aforementioned period.
He explained that Turkey exported 152,722 tons during the same period last season,worth 880 million and 364 thousand dollars.
