
The automotive industry was the sector with the highest exports last month, with $2.8 billion.
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the automotive industry, which achieved exports of $2.8 billion in January, was followed by chemicals and products with $2.3 billion, and ready-made clothing and apparel with $1.4 billion.
The highest export increase in January was in the ship, yacht and services sector with 749.8%.
The exports of the industrial group, which realizes 79.3% of Turkiye’s total exports, reached $13.6 billion with an increase of 0.2%.
In the said period, exports of $3.1 billion were achieved in the agricultural group, which constituted 18.2% of total exports, with an increase of 9.3%, and $446.5 million of exports were achieved in the mining group, which had a share of 2.6% , with an increase of 1.2%.
THE MOST EXPORT WAS TO GERMANY
The top 3 countries with the highest exports in January were Germany with $1.6 billion, the USA with $1 billion 21.7 million and the United Kingdom with $947.7 million.
While the top 3 provinces with the highest exports during this period were Istanbul with $7.2 billion, Kocaeli with $1.5 billion and Bursa with $1.2 billion, it was seen that the exports of 48 provinces increased.
While the parity difference contributed $112 million to exports last month, the unit export value was $1.48.
