Turkey’s largest industrial enterprise has been revealed

Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) announced the giants of the industry. Turkish Petroleum Refineries Inc. (TUPRAS) maintained its title as the largest industrial enterprise with ₺136.8 billion in sales from production.

Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) ICI Board Chairman Erdal Bahcivan announced the results of ICI’s “500 Largest Industrial Enterprises of Turkey” research at the press conference he held.

According to the research, TUPRAS took the first place in the list with ₺136.8 billion in sales from production, while Ford Automotive took the second place with ₺67.3 billion.

This year, the third-ranked industrial organization has changed. Last year, “Star Refinery” rose to the third level, where Oyak-Renault took part, with ₺55.2 billion worth of sales from production.

“Toyota Automotive” followed Star Refinery with sales from production of ₺46.2 billion, while “Iskenderun Iron and Steel” took the 10th place in the list last year with ₺38.7 billion.

While the company in sixth place did not want its name to be disclosed, “Eregli Demir ve Celik” ranked 7th with ₺36.8 billion, “Arcelik” ranked 8th with ₺35.8 billion, Oyak-Renault 9th with ₺34.4 billion, and Tofas placed 10th with ₺26.6 billion.
