Yapi Kredi CEO Gokhan Erun said, “We will continue to support our country’s economy with the bond issuance of $300 million in addition to our $500 million eurobond issuance in September.”

Yapi Kredi carried out an additional issue of $300 million to its sustainable Eurobond transaction in September, and the amount of resources it obtained from international markets reached $800 million.

According to Yapi Kredi’s statement, the bank’s additional sustainable bond issuance of $300 million was carried out with a fixed interest rate, coupon payment every 6 months, and a yield of 8.75%, with a redemption date of October 16, 2028.

Yapi Kredi Chief Executive (CEO) Gokhan Erun, whose views on the issue were included in the statement, stated that the transaction, which was carried out during a period of global uncertainty, re-established the trust in Yapi Kredi.

Erun said, ‘Diversifying our resources effectively is one of the most important elements of our sustainable and healthy growth strategy. In this regard, we will continue to support our country’s economy with the bond issuance of $300 million in addition to our $500 million eurobond issuance in September. This additional transaction we successfully completed was an indication of the trust not only in our bank but also in our country’s economy.’
