11th Bursa Textile Show Fair Connects Buyers and Companies from Around 40 Countries

The Bursa Textile Show Fair, one of the most significant gatherings in the Turkish textile sector, concluded successfully, bringing together buyers and companies from approximately 40 countries.

According to the statement from the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), the fair, organized by KFA Fairs under the leadership of BTSO, took place at the Bursa International Fair Center from March 5th to 7th. The event hosted buyers from more than 40 countries over the course of three days.

With trend areas and seminars providing participants the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in the industry, the fair saw the participation of over 80 companies in two halls.

As part of the Clothing Fabric International Competitiveness (UR-GE) projects led by BTSO, foreign business professionals engaged in business meetings with Bursa-based companies in a B2B organization. Visitors from around the world, including Europe, Africa, Turkic Republics, and the Middle East, attended the fair.

BTSO Vice Chairman İsmail Kuş, in his remarks included in the statement, highlighted the contribution of the Bursa Textile Show Fair to the export goals of the sector. Emphasizing that the fair was organized for the 11th time this year, Kuş stated, “As BTSO, we continue to develop projects for the export-oriented growth of our sectors. The Bursa Textile Show Fair is one of the events realized with this vision. The fair brought foreign buyers together with Bursa-based companies. Export is crucial for the qualified growth of our sector, and we prioritize efforts in fair organization for this purpose.”

Anton Frans, a designer from a prominent textile company in Belgium, expressed that they have been sourcing products from Turkey for a long time. He noted, “This fair is very important for us because we can see all the companies we work with in the same place.”

Menna Shalaby from Egypt mentioned that she will place orders for linen and woven fabrics, expressing her intention to attend the next fair as well. She praised the fabric quality in Bursa, stating, “I will definitely come to the next fair. The fabric quality in Bursa is excellent.”

Hajar Lmerrouni from the Netherlands, specializing in selling scarves, emphasized the need for natural yarn materials. She praised the fair for its overall quality, stating that she easily found the products she was looking for.

Antonina Pasichnyk from a company in Ukraine engaged in women’s clothing production expressed that Bursa is their preferred choice for fabric and that she established new business connections at the fair.
