Kirklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO) President Soner Ilik announced that exports in the city increased by 31.09% compared to September last year.
In his written statement, Ilik stated that Kirklareli-based companies reached an export figure of $15 million 522 thousand in September this year.
Expressing that it is important that the export figures increase compared to the previous year, Ilik said:
“Exports from our province in September 2022 increased by 23.06% compared to August of 2022 and increased by 31.09% compared to September of 2021. In the first 9 months of 2022, the total export figure from Kirklareli increased to $128 million 830 thousand, showing an increase of 37.78% compared to the first 9 months of 2021. Grains, oil seeds, textiles, iron, pulses, ready-made clothing, chemicals, furniture, paper and forestry products took the first place as the products exported in September 2022. Among the exported countries, countries such as Germany, USA, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Russian Federation and Mozambique took the first place.”
