Fuel consumption and carbon emissions of cars are labeled. With the change in the regulation, different labels will be prepared for fossil fuel, electric and hybrid fuel vehicles. The application will go live on 1 June.
The regulation prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology was published in the Official Gazette. Thus, a standard label format will be created for all fuel types.
Electric, hybrid and fossil fuel vehicles will be classified differently. The damage to the nature will be included in the information label.
Labels will have 13 digits according to carbon emission values. Cars with zero emission value will be in the A class.
The application will be considered optional until 1 June. After that, it will be made mandatory.
