60% price increase in ISPARK parking fees in Istanbul

In the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Assembly, a 60% increase was made in the parking fees operated by ISPARK. The new tariffs will be effective from 1 January 2023.

The fourth session of the December meeting of the IMM Assembly was held in the city hall in Sarachane under the presidency of Zeynel Abidin School, the 1st Deputy Chairman of the Assembly.

At the Assembly meeting, the issue of increasing the ISPARK parking fees was discussed within the scope of the 2023 Fare Tariff Proposals.

IMM management asked for a 100% raise

While the IMM management wanted a 100% increase in ISPARK parking fees, it was deemed appropriate to revise the offer by the commissions and make a 60% increase.

In this context, the fee for vehicles up to 1 hour has been increased from ₺17.50 to ₺28 in closed-floor and open parking lots, in Besiktas, Beyoglu, Fatih, Kadikoy, Sisli, Uskudar, Atasehir, Bakirkoy, Beykoz, Bayrampasa, Bahcelievler, Eyupsultan, Gungoren, Kartal, Kagithane, Maltepe, Pendik, Sariyer, Zeytinburnu, Tuzla and Umraniye.

The new tariffs will be effective from 1 January 2023

In the same districts, the fee for vehicles up to 1 hour in roadside parking lots has been increased from ₺18 to ₺28.

The 1-hour parking fee, which was ₺12.50 in the Adalar, Arnavutkoy, Avcilar, Bagcilar, Basaksehir, Beylikduzu, Buyukcekmece, Catalca, Cekmekoy, Esenler, Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpasa, Kucukcekmece, Sancaktepe, Silivri, Sultangazi, Sultanbeyli and Sile districts, has been increased to ₺20 in closed-storey car parks, open car parks and roadside car parks.

At ISPARK taxi stands, the entrance and exit of the taxis has been increased from ₺5.50 to ₺8, and 1-day waiting time has been increased from ₺21 to ₺33.

The tariff will be effective from 1 January 2023.
