Germany’s DAX 30 performs best, jumping 113 points
European stock exchanges closed higher on Monday, except for Spain’s.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 2.64 points, or 0.59%, to finish at 446.57.
The UK’s FTSE added 14 points, or 0.19%, to end at 7,600.
Germany’s DAX 30 was the best performer of the day, jumping 113 points, or 0.79%, to 14,575.
France’s CAC 40 gained 46 points, or 0.72%, to 6,562.
Italy’s FTSE MIB rose 172 points, or 0.7%,to end the day at 24,808.
Spain’s IBEX 35, on the other hand, fell 2.8 points, or 0.03%, to close at 8,930.
