Starting December 5, Prime Student members will have the opportunity to book flights for just $25 to select domestic destinations, allowing them to enjoy the holidays without the burden of exorbitant travel costs.
This limited-time offer is a first from StudentUniverse, delivering 3,000 tickets at this special rate, with the aim to alleviate financial stress during the festive season. The promotional tickets will be released in three batches of 1,000 each, available from 6 a.m. PST on December 5, and at 12 a.m. PST on December 6 and 7. These tickets are expected to sell quickly, given the high demand for affordable holiday travel.
Once the $25 tickets are sold out, StudentUniverse will offer a trailing promotion, providing Prime Student members with a discount code to save $25 off their next flight. This subsequent offer is also bound by specific terms and conditions, ensuring transparency and accessibility for students.

This sentiment is echoed by findings from a recent StudentUniverse survey, which identified financial costs as the leading concern for 76% of full-time students aged 18-25 when considering holiday travel.
Despite financial concerns, 79% of college students are actively saving for travel, with 43% prioritizing visiting home, according to a Prime Student survey. This initiative by Prime Student and StudentUniverse is a response to the clear desire for travel among college students, providing them with a much-needed respite during the festive period.
