After the devastating earthquake in our country, many developers are working on many applications so that people who have problems in their buildings can perform basic damage assessment. DepremRiskim is among these applications.
DepremRiskim application, developed by Basarsoft, is launched as an earthquake damage estimation application developed to generate an estimation report regarding the vulnerability of the building. The location of the building is determined by selecting the building coordinate information to be analyzed from the map or by using GPS location information. The building type and, if any, vertical or plan irregularity information is selected from the address information, photographs, construction year information of the building, and visuals prepared according to FEMA (FEMA (FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT) -154 standards).
A damage estimation report is generated for this building as a result of calculating the score according to the Low, Medium, Medium-High, High, Very High values of the Seismic Zone Degrees specified in the FEMA-154 Standards. The generated report will be prepared entirely in line with the information provided by the user, and it is seen as a quick preliminary assessment. The real earthquake resistance of the building can only be revealed through detailed analyzes and examinations by experts. Therefore, the report generated by the application cannot be used in official transactions.
