The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced that agricultural support payments totaling 399 million 724 thousand Turkish Lira will be transferred to farmers’ accounts today.
The information regarding agricultural support payments was shared on the ministry’s social media platform, X.
According to the announcement, the breakdown of the 399 million 724 thousand Turkish Lira agricultural support payment is as follows:
- Cereal and legume support, as well as corn support: 229 million 199 thousand Turkish Lira
- Disease-free operation support: 85 million 396 thousand Turkish Lira
- Support for water usage service fees for agricultural irrigation purposes: 63 million 752 thousand 293 Turkish Lira
- Rural development investment support: 21 million 376 thousand 707 Turkish Lira
The Ministry’s initiative aims to bolster the agricultural sector and provide vital financial support to farmers across various segments. The timely distribution of these funds reflects the government’s commitment to sustaining and promoting the nation’s agricultural activities.
