In the first of the races, where the pilots also struggled with hot weather conditions, Yagiz Gedik and Enzo Joulie fell to the 7th place with a 10-second penalty despite finishing in the 2nd place. Berkay Besler and Tom Edgar duo started the race in 19th place and finished the race in 4th place with their performance on the first day.
In the races of the second day of the organization, Berkay Besler advanced from the third place to the leader with his attack in the first round. After the pit stop, Tom Edgar responded very well to the attacks of his opponents and managed to maintain the leadership, while in Italy he had the Turkish flag raised and the National Anthem was sung.
Yagiz Gedik, who took the first wheel in the car with door number 11, started the race in the 15th rank and went up 8 rows with his high performance and entered the pit stop in the 7th rank. As Enzo Joulie, who took over the car, rose to 4th place, the duo gained points in Italy.
Following these results, Berkay and Tom duo placed 2nd in the silver category.
The 5th leg of the GT4 European Series will be held on September 2-3 at Germany’s Hockenheim Circuit.
