CBRT’s “Investor Days” will start in New York on January 11

At the meeting where Treasury and Finance Minister Simsek and CBRT Governor Erkan will meet with investors, presentations will be made on topics such as inflation, monetary policy, financial markets and banking and technical questions will be answered.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) will organize the first of its “Investor Days” in New York on Thursday, January 11.

The meeting to be held on January 11, where Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek and CBRT President Dr. Hafize Gaye Erkan will meet with investors, was conveyed to the guests with the note: “The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye invites you to a day where you will meet with Turkish officials and investors.”

The meeting, where presentations will be made and technical questions will be answered on topics such as inflation, monetary policy, financial markets and banking, will be held at JPMorgan’s headquarters in New York.

The meeting will start with the presentation of CBRT Governor Erkan titled “Monetary Policy and Inflation Outlook”.

Following Erkan’s presentation, Treasury and Finance Minister Simsek will give a speech titled “Fiscal Policy and Treasury’s Financing Outlook”.

In the second part of the meeting, the “Investor Views Panel on Turkish Assets” will be held.

The meeting, where sessions titled “Disinflation Path”, “Foreign Exchange Reserves Strategy” and “Banking Sector and Macroprudential Framework” will be held with the participation of Governor Erkan, vice presidents and unit managers from CBRT, will end with the closing session where CBRT Governor Erkan will answer questions.
