Minister of Commerce Omer Bolat answered questions on TRT News and evaluated the agenda.
Stating that they saw exorbitant price increases in the cement and ready-mixed concrete sector, Bolat said that they launched an intensive investigation a few weeks ago.
Bolat said, “I regret to say that there are efforts to raise exorbitant prices in 5 major provinces in the earthquake zone. Instead of competing and lowering prices, we see efforts to decide together and raise prices. We warn them, we will definitely not allow them. We will lower prices.”
