Central Bank reserves increased to $124.5 billion

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye increased by $1 billion 615 million in the week of October 13 compared to the previous week, reaching $124 billion 498 million.

Accordingly, as of October 13, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $155 million to 83 billion 307 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $83 billion 152 million on October 6.

During the said period, gold reserves increased by $1 billion 460 million, from $39 billion 731 million to $41 billion 191 million.

The total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $1 billion 615 million in the week of October 13 compared to the previous week, from $122 billion 883 million to $124 billion 498 million.

The increase in total reserves from the end of May to the week ending October 13 was $26 billion 40 million, and during this period, total reserves increased for 15 consecutive weeks, breaking the record for the longest increase in the data history that started in 1987.
