Central Bank Reserves Reach Approximately $126.9 Billion, Marking Increase of $2.775 Billion

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) increased by $2 billion 775 million in the week of May 3 compared to the previous week, reaching $126 billion 855 million.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of May 3, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $4 billion 181 million to $69 billion 148 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $64 billion 967 million on April 26.

During this period, gold reserves decreased by $1 billion 406 million, from $59 billion 113 million to $57 billion 707 million.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $2 billion 775 million in the week of May 3 compared to the previous week, rising from $124 billion 80 million to $126 billion 855 million.
