According to the regulation made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT), the maximum fee tariff will be the same in all EFT/FAST transactions regardless of time or day difference.
The CBRT’s Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles Concerning the Fees to be Collected from Financial Consumers and the Communiqué Amending the Communiqué Concerning the Procedures and Principles Concerning the Fees to be Collected from Commercial Customers by Banks were published in the Official Gazette.
For EFT/FAST transactions carried out after 16.00 on weekdays and on weekends, banks could charge 50% more than the maximum EFT/FAST tariffs.
With the regulations that will come into force on December 1, 2023, the maximum fee tariff will be applied to all EFT/FAST transactions regardless of time or day difference.
