Construction cost index increased by 2.16% on a monthly basis and by 60.70% on an annual basis in March.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for March.
Accordingly, the index increased by 2.16% monthly and 60.70% annually in March compared to the previous month.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 2.31% and the labor index increased by 1.76%. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 48.21% and the labor index increased by 105.09%.
Building construction cost index increased by 2.04% in March compared to the previous month and by 62.94% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2.19% and the labor index increased by 1.68%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 50.49% and the labor index increased by 105.16%.
Construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 2.54% in March compared to the previous month, and increased by 53.57% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2.71% and the labor index increased by 2.06%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 41.27% and the labor index increased by 104.83%.
