An agreement was signed between Turkiye and Ukraine in order to support joint projects in the field of autonomous systems, engine R&D, production and maintenance activities, especially UAV, with mutual cooperation in the field of strategic industries.
In the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the signing ceremony of the protocol containing the memorandum of understanding on “Cooperation in the Field of Strategic Industries” between the two countries was held at the Presidential Vahdettin Mansion after the tete-a-tete and between delegations meetings.
The protocol was signed by Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Minister of Industry and Technology, and Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
According to the information obtained from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the memorandum of understanding, it is aimed to support joint projects in the field of autonomous systems and engine R&D, production and maintenance activities, especially Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), through mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of strategic industries.
