The economic confidence index increased by 1.2% on a monthly basis in October and reached 96.5.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the economic confidence index data for October.
Accordingly, while the index was 95.4 in September, it increased by 1.2% to 96.5 in October.
Compared to the previous month, in October the consumer confidence index increased by 4.4% to 74.6, and the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 0.2% to 105.3, the service sector confidence index increased by 0.5% to 113.6, the construction sector confidence index increased by 0.9% to 89.1, and the retail trade sector confidence index decreased by 3.3% to 113.9.
