Fellas, a Turkish startup that produces healthy snacks, is expanding to global market with its new investment

FELLAS, Turkiye’s leading healthy snacks manufacturer, completed the investment round in which investors under the umbrella of Neo Portfolio Management Inc. Fifth Venture Capital Investment Fund participated, and received a major investment that will increase its production capacity by 5 times. FELLAS will increase both employment and market share with this investment.

Fellas, which started production in 2015 with the aim of producing qualified and delicious products for everyone who wants to eat healthy, today meets consumers at 30 thousand points with more than 80 products, especially in national markets. The brand, which plays an important role in the growth of the healthy food industry in Turkiye, is preparing to represent our country abroad with the investment it received.

Founded by Gamze Kavaz and Mustafa Can Gider in 2015, Fellas currently offers products in the healthy snack category of Turkiye.

Sharing their evaluations on the subject, the founders of Fellas said the following in their statement;

750% growth in the last 2 years

Fellas, which produces a product family of functional snack bars enriched with food, has achieved success in its own right, growing by 750% in the last 2 years. The brand, which will create employment for more than 200 people in the coming periods with this investment, aims to increase the rate of female employees, which is 65%. Today, Fellas meets consumers at more than 30,000 sales points and supports the sustainable growth of the healthy food industry by proving that healthy food can also be delicious.

Fellas products are gluten-free, sugar-free, additive-free and preservative-free. Its product groups include high protein bars, nuts and fruit bars, propolis bars that support immunity, vitamin bars for children, protein source and high fiber granolas, and 100% natural peanut butters.

The main factor of Fellas’ success is that all products carrying the brand consist of quality, natural, additive-free and preservative-free ingredients, without losing their focus on taste. Fellas has become the market leader in the fast-growing protein bar segment by adding products such as granola, muesli and peanut butter to its product range, which it started with protein and fruit bars, in the breakfast category over time.

Fellas produces its own products, which have been created and continuously improved by its own R&D team over the years, under its own roof. Thanks to the investment it received, it will increase its production capacity by 5 times in a new production facility and will add new, healthy and delicious snacks to its product range thanks to the additional production lines.
