
The House Price Index (HPI) reached 1088.1 in September, with a monthly increase of 4.3% and an annual increase of 89.2%.
Housing Price Index data for the period of September 2023 was announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye.
HPI (2017=100), which is calculated to monitor the quality-adjusted price changes of houses in Turkiye, increased by 4.3% in September compared to the previous month and reached 1088.1.
While HPI increased by 89.2% on an annual basis in September, the real increase in this period was 17.8%.
Looking at the HPI change for three major provinces, an increase of 4.1%, 5.5% and 2.9% was seen in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, respectively, in September compared to the previous month.
Index values increased to 77.6% in Istanbul, 102.7% in Ankara and 85.2% in Izmir compared to the same month last year.
