Istanbul Airport became the leader of Europe with an average of 1511 flights per day

Istanbul Airport became the European leader with an average of 1511 flights per day during the week of 21-27 August.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu gave information on the data of the European Air Navigation Safety Organization (EUROCONTROL) on his social media account.

Pointing out that Istanbul Airport is the leader of Europe with an average of 1511 flights per day, according to EUROCONTROL’s data for the period of August 21-27, Uraloglu said, “Istanbul Airport achieved a growth of 118% among the top 20 busiest airports compared to the pre-pandemic period.”
