Istanbul Airport is Europe’s busiest airport with an average of 1435 flights per day between 2-8 October

Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1435 flights per day between 2-8 October.

The European Aviation Report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) for 2-8 October has been published.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1435 flights per day.

Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol with an average of 1419 flights per day, Paris Charles de Gaulle with 1335 flights, Frankfurt with 1332 flights, and London Heathrow with 1318 flights.

Antalya Airport ranked 9th among the busiest airports with an average of 883 daily flights.
