Ludus Ventures, which announced its second fund established with Tera Portfolio as a Venture Capital Investment Fund at the beginning of 2024, made its first investment of this year with $1 million in Midas Games.
Founded by Selcuk Korates, Hikmet Duran, Fatih Karadeniz, Mert Ulutas, Emre Ozturk and Ilkim Ulgen, Midas Games has experience in mobile game development, publishing, software development and game law.
Continuing to rise in the last 2 years; Midas Games, which will produce games in the skill-based and competitive games category, aims to release its first games in the second half of 2024.
Hikmet, Emre and Mert, partners of the company; It also forms the skeleton staff of the game production. After working together for many years at Gigantic Games, where they reached a total of 25 million downloads, Hikmet Emre and Mert continue their collaboration at Midas Games. In the CTO role, Fatih Karadeniz, with over 20 years of software development experience, created the first internet branches of stock brokerage firms and led the development of the technical infrastructure of Turkiye’s largest Mobile Marketing platform. In this game category where talent and competition can turn into rewards; In the legal field, there is Ilkim Ulgen, one of the most expert names in the field of IT and Mobile Game law. Serving as the CEO of Midas Games is Selcuk Korates, who worked at Rollic company, which was sold to Zynga, for more than 3 years and has created many hit games.
