Abdullah Yuceer, General Manager of Karmod, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they see the increase in demand as a reflection of the confidence in prefabricated houses in the society.
Yuceer stated that they have increased their monthly house production up to 500 units and said:
“There is no doubt that the Kahramanmaras earthquakes had a triggering effect on the increase in production and demand. However, in January and February of the year, when the earthquake did not affect the demand yet, our ready-made housing production was close to our current average. We can easily say that there is a confidence in the society towards prefabricated houses in the increase in demand affecting production. As customer satisfaction is experienced and shared, the interest in prefabricated houses increases even more. In the first 6 months of the year, our call center answered 11,778 calls to get information about our homes. We observed that the customer experiences were reflected in the incoming call contents.’
Emphasizing that prefabricated houses have been the most preferred model in detached houses in recent years, Yuceer stated that they also produce luxury villas for expectations.
Yuceer pointed out that prefabricated houses have important advantages, especially rapid production and installation, and stated that the production of prefabricated houses produced in machines using new generation weldless technologies can be realized in a very short time, and said, “We produce houses with high building security with our housing model with steel carriers. Our houses, which can be easily transported with partial production, can be assembled within days with the advantage of the bolt-nut and plug-in system. Our ready-made houses are among the long-lasting housing models. It saves the budgets with the cost advantage that reduces the labor costs. With its well-insulated feature, it reduces energy costs by saving on air-conditioning.”
