Turkish food and beverage company HazerBaba has invested in a Loma Systems’ IQ3 metal detector conveyor.
The company dominates Turkey’s food and snacks sector, and supplies to more than 40 countries, producing the majority of all Turkish Delight exports in the world.
It currently supplies leading global retailers such as Fortnum & Mason.
HazerBaba required a new inspection solution to support its rapid manufacturing growth.
Currently using an older generation Loma metal detector, the company decided to invest in a newer system as their Critical Control Point (CCP),to further improve production volumes and excel in meeting stringent regulatory requirements.
Loma recommended the IQ3 metal detector conveyor, designed to inspect both packaged and loose products, thereby achieving the highest levels of compliance.
It is rated IP66 for safe cleaning, with a dual-line screen and keypad display, and an ‘Auto- Learn’ function enables quick product set-up.
The variable frequency technology ensures the best detection properties, even when packaging includes metallized film, increasing overall equipment effectiveness and adherence to quality certifications.
