MIA Technology aims to make Turkiye one of the leading centers in the global health technologies market.

MIA Technology, which continues its activities in Qatar, the United States and Morocco outside Turkiye in the fields of R&D, innovation, software development, integration and solution provision, continues to carry its strong collaborations in Turkiye to all countries of the world.

Investment-based negotiations with a leading United States-based company in health software regarding the licensing rights of the company’s software in the field of health have been concluded.

After the meeting, a contract was signed to transfer the license rights of the company’s software in the field of healthcare to its New York-based subsidiary named MIA Tech Corporation, which was established in the USA, and to sell 51% of the shares of this subsidiary to the USA-based investor company.

MIA Technology Board Member Ihsan Unal, in his speech at the meeting held regarding the investment MIA Technology’s subsidiary MIA Tech Corporation received from a US-based company, stated that, as MIA Technology, they continue their activities without slowing down, facilitating service and supply chain functions in the field of health informatics and meeting the software needs of the country’s health system.

Stating that they have come back with technological solutions to the changing and developing demands in the market, relying on their 17 years of experience in the sector, Unal said: “We are implementing many software projects that cover the needs of the healthcare sector and will enable hospitals to keep up with today’s competitive environment and technological developments, and we are carrying this to all countries of the world with strong collaborations.”

Unal said, “Our negotiation process started with the purchase of our health technology software in line with the agreement we made with a US-based investor company, the licensing process for the sales and marketing of products to our New York-based subsidiary MIA Tech Corporation was finalized, the sale of 51% of its shares to a US-based investor, and the international sales and marketing activities of the software developed by our company in the field of healthcare were carried out through MIA Tech Corporation. With this agreement, we aim to become one of the leading centers in the global health technologies market.”

Stating that Turkiye is a leading country in the world in terms of healthcare sector software, Unal said, “This can be seen in America and Europe. Maybe such a spark was needed. From now on, I hope different local companies will continue to follow this path.”

The digital health sector is aimed to reach a size of $18 billion in 2030

Stating that the domestic and national software that received investment enables all health activities of a country to be managed in an integrated manner through a central platform, Unal stated that the domestic and national software they developed offers a system that will meet the needs of users in health systems.

Stating that they plan to make long-term investments and collaborations in the Middle East and North America region, Unal said, “The digital health sector, especially in the Middle East and North America region, is expected to reach a size of $18 billion in 2030. We see the potential here and concentrate our projects in these regions.

Our subsidiary company, MIA Tech Corporation, started business development activities in the international healthcare IT market. “At the same time, our company plans to make various investments with long-term collaborations by supporting business development operations, market share growth and R&D activities in these regions.”

Unal said, “We already want to open our software to the whole world, especially North America and the Middle East Region, which we call the MENA region. America has framework agreements here, especially in the MENA region. There are great advantages in this region. There are jobs with ready limits and money. We want to join them immediately.”

Aims to deliver remote healthcare software to millions of members

Referring to their investments and goals in the field of digital health, Unal stated that with their new investments, they will strengthen the infrastructure of the health centers in the regions where they are located, ensure the provision of medical equipment and solution-oriented technologies, and provide support in facilitating the monitoring and management of patients through digital health platforms.

Unal pointed out that they will focus on activities to cooperate with local health institutions in order to increase access to health services in North Africa. “We will develop solutions tailored to the needs of the regions. While we will provide innovative solutions for the management of chronic diseases in the Middle East, we will take an active role in developing health services for the aging population in North America.”

Unal stated that their biggest goal is to develop a system that will reach millions of members who integrate and use remote healthcare software globally and to ensure that all these processes are managed with mixed reality, augmented reality and virtual reality technologies.

Unal stated that they allocated a place for various strategic agenda topics in their agenda for 2024, especially technology and innovation, and said that agenda topics include artificial intelligence and machine learning, digital transformation, IoT and smart devices, cybersecurity and data protection, renewable energy and sustainability, data analytics and predictive models, training and talent development, in order to support the future growth and sustainability of their business.

Stating that they aim to have a 90% DC station network this year and to be among the top 5 among Electric Vehicle Charging Network Operators across Turkiye, Unal said, “We plan to put more charging stations into operation by continuing our necessary infrastructure works to achieve this goal.”

Unal pointed out that they aim to provide an uninterrupted sustainable transportation network with zero carbon emissions by integrating shared vehicles into charging network systems in 2024. “In this way, we will create a safe and comfortable travel opportunity for people by providing environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation. Our short-term plans for this purpose include our project to establish a solar power plant to meet the electricity of charging stations towards the last quarter of 2024.”

“We will also make investments on the energy side”

Pointing out that they will also make investments on the energy side, Unal stated that they are currently at the table with China’s fifth largest company and that they want to invest, and said, “It is a great pride for us to now be on the radar of such companies. These are very big companies. They want to invest and they see us as investable. This is so important for us.”

Unal commented, “With our company Enerjey, which operates in the field of renewable energy, we aim to contribute to the sustainable ecosystem by making major investments in this field, especially with the application processes we have made in the field of solar energy power plants and energy storage in Turkiye.”

Unal said that they established the MIA Aid Culture and Education Foundation with the aim of supporting widows and children with children to take part in social life, providing their children’s education and basic needs, and eliminating social pressures against these women, and concluded his words as follows:

“We established our foundation to provide assistance to people who need help and are affected by natural disasters, to ensure that this assistance becomes institutionalized, and to establish both a nursing home, nursing home and rehabilitation center and to support the already established ones. Our goal is to carry out supportive activities in education, justice, health, productivity, innovation, technology, artistic activities, maritime and water sports activities and in all sports branches and on issues that will be beneficial to the development of the Republic of Turkiye and to ensure that animal rights awareness is established by meeting the shelter, health and food needs of stray animals.”
