Moody’s did not evaluate Turkiye’s credit rating

International credit rating agency Moody’s announced that no evaluation was made regarding Turkiye’s credit rating.

In the statement made by Moody’s, it was stated that no update was made for Turkiye, which was given a date of December 15 for evaluation in the calendar.

The fact that international credit rating agencies give dates for countries’ credit scores and rating outlooks in their annual calendars does not mean that there will be a definitive update. Credit rating agencies can also make an evaluation outside the specified date.

Moody’s currently evaluates Turkiye’s credit rating as “B3” and its rating outlook as “stable”.
