The defense industry sector broke the historical monthly export record by signing $657.5 million of exports in July.
President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Haluk Gorgun noted that the defense industry, backed by national power and support, has presented another record to Turkiye.
Stating that the sector achieved $657.5 million of exports in July, breaking the historical monthly export record, Gorgun stated that the total defense and aerospace industry exports in the first 7 months of 2023 exceeded $3 billion.
“The reflections of the trust we offer to the world will continue”
Emphasizing that the reflections of the trust offered to the world in defense technologies will continue, Gorgun said, “We congratulate our companies that broke records by working shoulder to shoulder for the added value they offer to our country.”
