Rize-Artvin Airport, Turkiye’s second airport built on a sea embankment, was used by 777 thousand 548 passengers in the January-September period of the year.
According to the information received from the General Directorate of State Airports Authority, 5 thousand 596 flights took place from Rize-Artvin Airport in 9 months, and 5 thousand 628 tons of luggage and cargo were transported.
696 domestic and international flights were operated in September.
99 thousand 501 passengers benefited from Turkiye’s second airport built on a sea embankment, and 714 tons of cargo were transported.
