TAV’s 6 airports entered the Skytrax list

Antalya, Almaty, Batumi, Medina, Tbilisi and Zagreb airports operated by TAV were included in the “World Airport Awards 2023” list organized by Skytrax.

6 airports operated by TAV Airports were among the best in the ‘World Airport Awards 2023’ list organized by Skytrax and determined by passenger votes.

According to the statement made by the company, Antalya, Almaty, Batumi, Medina, Tbilisi and Zagreb airports operated by TAV were included in the Skytrax-World Airport Awards list. The awards were announced at the Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE), held in Amsterdam and bringing together more than 10 thousand industry representatives from 130 countries.

While Antalya Airport is among the top 10 airports serving 30-40 million passengers, Almaty was shown as the second best regional airport in Central Asia.

While Medina Airport was included in the ‘Top 100 Airports’ list, it was selected as the second best regional airport in the Middle East. Tbilisi, Batumi and Zagreb airports were also included in the top 10 in the Eastern Europe region.

‘We are happy to receive the awards’

TAV Airports Chairman of the Executive Board Serkan Kaptan, who gave his views on the subject in the statement, stated that they operate 15 airports in 8 countries, and together with the service companies, they implement an integrated business model to best meet the needs and expectations of the passengers.

The captain said, “We are happy to receive these awards, which are determined according to passenger preferences, in a year when demand returned rapidly after Covid-19. I would like to thank all my colleagues and stakeholders who contributed to this success.”
