According to the statement made by the company, the company, which produces energy entirely from domestic and renewable sources, achieved an overall score of 70 in the environmental and social governance and sustainability report prepared by the international rating agency Moody’s, and was among the top 30 companies in the world on the basis of all sectors.
Akfen Renewable Energy General Manager Kayril Karabeyoglu, whose views are included in the statement, stated that the company is struggling with climate change besides electricity generation, and said:
