Turkish Petroleum Joint Stock Partnership (TPAO) received oil exploitation licenses for two separate fields in Adana for 20 years.
The decision of the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources regarding oil rights was published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, after the oil exploitation license of Guney Yildizi Petroleum Production Drilling Contracting and Trade Inc. in two fields with a total area of 1013 hectares in Adana expired on 26 November, it was decided to give the said license to TPAO for 20 years starting from 27 November.
