Akincilar Tactical Textile company will produce the bulletproof plates it has developed in Azerbaijan

Akincilar Tactical Textile company, which carries out R&D and production in the field of technical textiles in İzmir, made a production agreement in Azerbaijan for the “ballistic armor-piercing bulletproof plate” it developed.

In the statement made by the company, it was stated that within the scope of the cooperation agreement signed with the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, the ballistic armor-piercing bulletproof plate, which has been tried in this country for a while, passed all tests successfully.

In the statement, it was stated that a protocol was signed between Ahmet Can Uzuntepe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, and Mursel Aliyev, Chairman of the Scientific Research Institute of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense Industry, for the production of bulletproof plates in this country and the establishment of a joint laboratory, and that a program was started for the joint training of the engineers of the institute and the company.

It was stated that the plates were aimed to be used in the Azerbaijani army.

Uzuntepe, whose evaluations were included in the statement, stated that they started to produce some of the innovative textile products in Baku with technology transfer within the scope of the protocol they signed with our sister country Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that their goal is to spread this project to the entire Turkish geography, Uzuntepe noted that they will now carry out some of their innovative textile works in Azerbaijan with the aim of developing common technologies.
