The economic confidence index decreased by 5.2% on a monthly basis to 92.1 in August.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the economic confidence index data for August.
Accordingly, while the economic confidence index was 99.3 in July, it decreased by 5.2% in August to 94.1.
Compared to the previous month, consumer confidence index decreased by 15.1% to 68.0 in August, while real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.3% to 104.6, the service sector confidence index decreased by 1.7% to 115.3, the retail trade confidence index decreased by 0.4% to 114.3, construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.7% to 87.4.
