Turkiye has increased its target in e-commerce and e-export in 2023

Hakan Cevikoglu, General Manager of PttAVM.com and Vice President of the Association of Electronic Commerce Operators, said that 2023 will be the “year of Turkiye” in e-commerce and e-export.

Cevikoglu, after attending a program in the city, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that e-commerce is growing in Turkiye as well as in the rest of the world.

Explaining that Turkiye has closed the year 2022 with growth, Cevikoglu stated that they anticipate further growth by utilizing the opportunity in front of them in terms of the targets they want and the point that can be reached in the world.

Expressing that cross-border e-export has shown a great development along with e-commerce, Cevikoglu said, “In 2023, new supports, new programs, new laws and regulations related to e-commerce and e-export came into effect. With the help of these, we entered a year in which Turkish products will be sold more in the world. 2023 will be the ‘year of Turkiye’ in e-commerce, and we will see the sales of Turkish products in over 100 countries in the world in e-export.”

Cevikoglu stated that PttAVM.com, which is preparing to celebrate its 11th anniversary, continues to contribute to Turkiye’s e-commerce and e-exports.

Pointing out that the e-commerce system is well established in Turkiye with its payment systems, infrastructure and international shipping options, he said, “PttAVM has the state cap of the PTT regarding e-export. We have started to build bridges regarding this. We are opening the vendors at PttAVM to America, Europe, China and abroad. In 2022, we delivered to the door in 98 countries through PttAVM. In 2023, we will increase this even more. We are building bridges. We also invite our SMEs, let them come and let’s sell to the world together.”
