Peugeot Turkiye General Manager Gulin Reyhanoglu, whose evaluation on the subject was included in the statement, stated that 2023 was a successful year for them and said: ‘As Peugeot, our growth in the Turkish market continues uninterruptedly. We finished 2023 in 5th place with sales of 78 thousand 632 units. This figure means that we grew nearly 2.5 times compared to the previous year.’

Stating that the brand’s rise in Turkiye is followed with interest globally, Gulin Reyhanoglu said, ‘We managed to leave Spain behind at the end of the year with our record sales. As of today, Turkiye has become the 4th country with the most Peugeot sales among 147 countries globally. We have France, Italy and England ahead of us. Even this table is enough to reveal how successful 2023 will be for us.’

Stating that the best-selling models in the Turkish market are 3008 and 2008, Gulin Reyhanoglu said:

‘We are the most popular brand in the market with our SUV models. Even our 408 model, which entered the market in March, reached sales of nearly 10 thousand units and made a significant contribution to us. At this point, we are happy to achieve another important global success. With the new 408 sales of 9 thousand 729 units in 2023, we have also achieved the honor of being the country where this eye-catching Peugeot model is most preferred. 408 also became the winner of the “Design of the Year” category in the 8th “Car of the Year in Turkiye” competition organized by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD). Even though we have won many awards around the world, this award has a special place for us. On top of that, we won the award with ‘Peugeot 408 – Eye-Catching from Every Angle’ in the ‘Integrated Communication Campaign of the Year’ category at the ODMD Sales and Communication Awards 2023 Gladiators. As a result, we managed to get a 9.8% share of the SUV market with our four ambitious models. In other words, as Peugeot, we sold one in 10 SUV vehicles sold in Turkiye. We will continue our absolute success and assertion in the SUV market with our renewed models in 2024. This year will also be the year of our electric models.’
