Turkiye’s agricultural sector completed 2023 with record exports

The agricultural sector achieved the highest exports of all time with exports exceeding $35 billion last year.

The agricultural sector continued its records in exports last year. In an environment where geopolitical risks, supply concerns, drought and global food access problems continue, demand for Turkiye’s agricultural products continued to increase.

Economic policies that prioritize production and exports also contributed to Turkiye’s agricultural exports. The fact that representatives of the agricultural sector both maintained quality and increased efficiency ensured that the products were in demand worldwide. The increase in qualified investment capacity in licensed warehousing was among the factors that made the agricultural sector competitive in the world in foreign sales.
