OECD increased its growth forecast for Turkiye for 2024 from 2.9% to 3.4%. The organization announced its year-end inflation expectation as 55.5%.
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) increased its Turkiye and global growth forecast for 2024 and 2025.
In its report published today, OECD revised its 2024 global growth forecast to 3.1% from the 2.9% announced in February.
OECD increased its 2024 forecast for Turkiye from 2.9% to 3.4%.
The organization increased its 2025 growth forecast for the Turkish economy from 3.1% to 3.2% and for the global economy from 3% to 3.2%.
OECD predicts that inflation in Turkiye will be 55.5% on average in 2024 and 28.9% in 2025.
