Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) increased by $2 billion 488 million in the week of February 3 compared to the previous week and reached its highest level since January 2015 with $129 billion 627 million.

Accordingly, as of February 3, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by $1 billion 725 million to $77 billion 931 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $76 billion 206 million on 27 January.
In the said period, gold reserves increased by $763 million from $50 billion 933 million to $51 billion 696 million.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves increased from $127 billion 139 million to $129 billion 627 million in the week of February 3, with an increase of $2 billion 488 million compared to the previous week. The aforementioned data pointed to the highest level since January 2015.
Net international reserves also increased from $25.8 billion last week to $27.1 billion.
