Yesterday, 709 thousand 848 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis in Turkiye. Hydroelectric power plants with dams took the first place in production with 19.4%.
According to the data of Turkiye Electricity Transmission Inc, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis was at 21.00 with 32 thousand 893 megawatt-hours, and the lowest consumption was at 07.00 with 25 thousand 643 megawatt-hours.
On a daily basis, 709 thousand 848 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced yesterday, and consumption was recorded as 720 thousand 827 megawatt-hours.
Hydroelectric power plants with dams took the first place in production with 19.4%. This was followed by imported coal with 18.6% and wind power plants with 15.4%.
Turkiye made 2,275 megawatt-hours of electricity exports and 13,255 megawatts of electricity imports yesterday.
